Or are you an eye care professional who has patients with vision loss who could benefit from low vision care but feel you lack the time or staff to offer it at your location? If you fit into either one of these two categories, Eschenbach’s new “Low Vision Care Matching Service” can help you!

With this new service, we can help match up those looking to offer low vision care with those looking for someone to offer it to their patients at their location. Just complete a short form online and if we have a match for you, we will let you know. Once matched, the two of you can work together to work out the details.

SPACE CAMP

The Eschenbach Sponsorship for Space Camp for Interested Visually Impaired Students (SCIVIS) is Open for 2026!

Eschenbach is sponsoring 2 lucky visually impaired students to attend the SCIVIS camp this year! All visually impaired students from the US and Canada, ages 9-14, are encouraged to apply online for this extraordinary experience. From September 27th through October 1st, 2026 our two sponsored winners will attend this unique camp at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Throughout the week, the students get to train like real astronauts using equipment adapted from NASA’s astronaut program!

AWARENESS MONTH

June is Cataract Awareness Month!

Did you know that cataracts are the leading cause of blindness in the world? There are an estimated 25.7 million Americans aged 40 years and older who have cataracts. This dedicated month aims to raise awareness about cataract symptoms, types, and treatment options. It’s important to inform your patients about the steps they can take to prevent this issue, like wearing UV-blocking sunglasses.
