EYECARE AWARENESS
It’s Diabetic Eye Disease Awareness Month!
Diabetic Eye Disease Month focuses attention on keeping eyes healthy and urges vision care organizations and eye care professionals to encourage patients to get yearly eye exams. More than 30 million people living in the United States have diabetes, which can increase the risk for vision loss and blindness from diabetic eye diseases. The longer a person has diabetes, the greater their risk of developing diabetic eye disease.
Make sure your patients are taking care of their eyes and seeing an eye doctor for regular eye exams because early detection and treatment can prevent or delay vision loss. And remember that Eschenbach has low vision aids you can provide your diabetic eye disease patients that supplement any medical treatment they are receiving and boost their visual outcomes!

SPACE CAMP
Congrats Grads!
Our two sponsored visually impaired students, Jackson and Jayden, successfully completed their space mission and graduated from the Space Camp for Interested Visually Impaired Students (SCIVIS)! They had an incredible experience at the US Space and Rocket Center, participating in immersive astronaut training and team building activities adapted from the NASA space program. Each day they got to work on a new and exciting project, from rocket launching to underwater structure building and more, so they got to experience it all!
See more of their exciting journey on our website at www.eschenbach.com/about-us/giving-back.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
Say Hello To Jim!
Jim is our Northeast Territory Manager covering all of the states in New England and New York. He works hard to help our partners find the right solutions for their patients with vision loss and expand their low vision offerings.
Jim began working for Eschenbach back in 2021 but began his career in event marketing. He then transitioned into sales and management roles with companies like Philips Consumer Electronics and the Stride-Rite Corporation. When he is not busy visiting customers he spends time with his family, especially his wife and daughters, trying to make them laugh at his jokes (which can be tough!). He is also a longtime season ticket holder for the UCONN Men's basketball program and never misses a game.
Thanks for all the work you do Jim!
