PRODUCT UPDATE
Our Makrolux Bright Field Illuminated Stand Magnifiers Have Been Updated!
Our new and improved Makrolux magnifiers now feature the ability to select between three different color temperatures (cool white, neutral white and warm white) and three brightness settings (50%, 75% and 100%) - all at no extra charge! These new customizable versions will allow your patients who are visually impaired to select the right brightness and color setting that is most beneficial and comfortable for them depending on their type of vision loss.
The updated Makrolux magnifiers, which are available in both 2.2x and 3.6x magnifications, still come with an extra-wide lens which can cover a whole newspaper column and are tilted at an angle toward the user in order to provide a comfortable, ergonomic reading position. And to help distinguish the new versions from the old, the back piece is now a high-contrast white color instead of silver.
Check them out online HERE or ask your Territory Manager for pricing and details!

EYECARE AWARENESS
September is Healthy Aging Month!
As people age, they're at a greater risk for many eye diseases and conditions including age-related macular degeneration and cataracts. Early detection of these issues and treatment by an eye doctor is critical to prevent vision loss from progressing.
Make sure your patients are taking care of their eyes as they get older and continue to see you for regular eye exams. And if they do experience vision loss, remember that Eschenbach has a variety of low vision aids you can offer that can help them accomplish their favorite tasks such as reading and writing, thereby improving their quality of life and allowing them to maintain their independence.
Learn more about Healthy Aging Month and find educational resources relating to vision and aging on the National Eye Institute website HERE.
