BRAIN INJURY AWARENESS MONTH
March is Brain Injury Awareness Month
Visual problems are often overlooked during the initial treatment of a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and in some cases, symptoms may not be present until later on. Patients may notice changes in their vision after having a concussion or some other head trauma, but may not think to contact an eye care professional to determine the cause of the vision change and start of treatment and/or referral to a specialist.
TBI patients often have light sensitivity after their injury and can usually benefit from wearing special FL-41 filters because they can reduce glare. Eschenbach carries a variety of FL-41 filters in different shades and in different styles including both fit-over and wear alone styles.

Jenna Jonke is our incredible Events & Product Support Coordinator at Eschenbach! Since joining the team in September 2023, Jenna has been instrumental in managing logistics for our local and national tradeshows, overseeing our Haus Call Telelowvision Program, and hosting Eschenbach's live educational webinars. Before Eschenbach, Jenna worked in marketing and tradeshow logistics in the specialty food industry—mostly cheese!—and also planned alumni receptions for a private high school in her area.
Outside of work, Jenna enjoys playing soccer, practicing yoga, hiking, and spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking. She shares her home with her spoiled black cat, Poppy, and is currently in the process of planning her wedding for November 1, 2025!

Optometrist Position Available!
Nemours SeniorCare is seeking an Optometrist to provide professional optometry services 8–24 hours per week at their Milford, DE clinic. This is a contracted position through a Professional Services Agreement. Responsibilities would include vision and eye health assessments, prescribing eyeglasses, referring patients as needed, maintaining electronic medical records, and supervising technical staff. Workspace, equipment, supplies, and support personnel would be included. Candidates must be licensed in Delaware, have federal registration to prescribe controlled substances, and have current professional liability coverage.
