January is National Glaucoma Awareness Month! Since glaucoma often has no early symptoms, the best way for you to detect it is through comprehensive dilated eye exams. While there is no cure for glaucoma, early diagnosis and treatment can help protect vision and prevent further damage. Visit the National Eye Institute website to explore ways to support National Glaucoma Awareness Month and educate your patients about this important issue.
For your patients already living with glaucoma, Eschenbach offers a range of low vision aids designed to enhance their independence, safety, and overall quality of life. Our Monocular Telescopes, for example, can be used in reverse to expand the field of view, which is especially helpful for patients with field reduction caused by glaucoma.
