Optaro® is the first video magnifier specifically made for a smartphone. It easily attaches to an iPhone turning two devices into one. By downloading the free app, it allows the iPhone to communicate with the Optaro® camera, turning the phone into a full-featured video magnifier.

Optaro® can be attached to an iPhone either through an integrated case or through a magnetic MagSafe Universal Stand. Once connected, the Optaro® camera module provides a Full HD image, 3.3x - 15x magnification and a large field of view visible on the iPhone screen and includes customizable features like reading lines, blinds and color contrast modes to provide a more comfortable and effective viewing experience for those with vision loss.

WORLD SIGHT DAY

October 10th is World Sight Day!
This year, the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness is focusing year’s World Sight Day on the importance of eyecare in young people and wants to inspire children everywhere to love their eyes. If you have young patients who have a vision impairment, be sure to provide them with the appropriate Eschenbach low vision devices that can maximize not only their productivity in school, but also their safety and independence at home!

Say Hello to Paul!
Paul, our Senior Accountant, has been with Eschenbach since January 2022. He has brought valuable experience with him to Eschenbach from his previous roles in the accounting world and currently manages our general ledger activity, financial reporting, and payroll. Additionally, he supervises accounts receivable and payable functions.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys entertaining friends and family at home and loves playing games and solving word puzzles. As a resident of Danbury, he also appreciates his short commute to work!

SPACE CAMP

Our Two Lucky Winners are Going to Space Camp This Month!
On October 6th, our sponsored students, Jack J. from Greensboro, NC and Wyatt D. from Burleson, TX will be attending the SCIVIS Space Camp at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Throughout their week, the students will be immersed in astronaut training techniques such as an anti-gravity trainer, underwater space station simulation build, a rocket launch and more. Eschenbach will also be providing them with a special goody bag, including a new Smartlux® Digital portable video magnifier, to bring on their amazing trip.
