Have You Created a Login for Our New eLearning Platform?
Eschenbach Academy is a new online training platform designed to provide you and your staff access to low vision education and training anytime, on-demand. You can access this new platform by logging into the Eschenbach website (at www.eschenbach.com and clicking on the Eschenbach Academy link at the top). Once you are on the Eschenbach Academy website you can create a sign in using your Account Number and Billing Zip Code.

Log in and you can enroll in our first Low Vision Training Module entitled "Low Vision Basics". The first 200 customers to enroll in this module will receive a $5 Starbucks Gift Card - so sign up now!

Presenting our New Rolling Lamp Magnifier Stand!

The Rolling Stand is designed to provide a mobile mount for the VarioLED+ lamp magnifier. It features a 5-leg plastic base with wheels and a sturdy aluminum pole that stands 49” tall.

The VarioLED+ is a high-quality lamp magnifier with a large aspheric lens, adjustable LED illumination (which includes a shadow-free viewing option) and easy-to-use push button operation. The VarioLED+ Lamp Magnifier (2777-x) easily mounts into the top of the rolling stand using a custom-made insert and attaches firmly to the pole which allows for another, more portable, mounting solution for the lamp.

NATIONAL UV SAFETY AWARENESS MONTH

July is National UV Safety Awareness Month!

Studies show that long-term exposure to bright sunlight may increase the risk of cataracts, ocular melanoma and macular degeneration. In support of UV Safety Awareness Month this July, you should remind your patients about the importance of shielding eyes from the sun’s harmful rays with 100% UV-blocking sunglasses.

Whether your patients are dining outside or participating in outdoor activities, Eschenbach has UV-blocking sunwear options that can protect their eyes. Our Ambelis filters are a great choice because the lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays and the top and side shields provide extra coverage around the eyes which helps reduce glare. ESCHENBACH SPACE CAMP SPONSORSHIP

Eschenbach is Excited to Sponser Two Visually Impaired Students to Attend Space Camp!

For the second year in a row Eschenbach will be supporting the Space Camp For Interested Visually Impaired Students (SCIVIS) program by sponsoring two students to attend their annual Space Camp being held from October 1-5, 2023. The Camp is a week long experience specifically designed for students who have visual impairment that takes place at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama and is coordinated by teachers of the visually impaired. Throughout the week, students are immersed in astronaut training techniques using equipment adapted from NASA’s astronaut program which was made accessible for visually impaired students to participate fully!
