DIABETIC EYE DISEASE AWARENESS MONTH

November is Diabetic Eye Disease Awareness Month!

According to the National Eye Institute, over 30 million Americans have diabetes which increases the risk for vision loss and blindness from diabetic eye diseases. The most common diabetic eye disease is diabetic retinopathy. Diabetic Eye Disease Month focuses attention on keeping eyes healthy and urges vision care organizations and eye care professionals to share resources on how diabetes can decrease sight and encourage patients to get an eye exam.

Make sure your patients are taking care of their eyes and seeing you for regular eye exams because early detection and treatment can prevent or delay vision loss. For your patients who have experienced vision loss, Eschenbach can provide you with the tools to offer them so that they can again accomplish their desired tasks, such as reading and writing!

Welcoming Joe Robinson to the Eschenbach Team! 

Eschenbach is pleased to announce Joe Robinson as our new Pacific Northwest Territory Manager who will be covering the US states of Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington, and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. Joe comes to Eschenbach with experience in the medical product industry and will be a great resource to his customers.

ESCHENBACH SPACE CAMP SPONSORSHIP

This year, Eschenbach sponsored two visually impaired students to attend the SCIVIS Space Camp 2022 at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL which was held from September 18-23, 2022. Both of our sponsored students were able to bring along a chaperone from their school to assist them on the trip. Not only did the students have the time of their life, but from what we’ve heard, their chaperones had wonderful experiences as well.
