The Magno® Travel Lamp is a multi-functional light that can be used as either a desk lamp or flashlight. With a compact design and multiple lighting options it’s the perfect companion for anyone who needs a little extra light when performing everyday tasks.
When used as a desk lamp, you can choose from three color temperatures: a warm yellow 3200K, a neutral white 4200K and a cool white 6000K. The light can also be dimmed by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button. To use as a desk lamp, simply fold-out lamp head from the side of the handle and stand the lamp on the wide end (flashlight side down). When the lamp head is folded in, it can then be used as a hand-held flashlight.

World Sight Day is an annual day of awareness held on the second Thursday of October and focuses global attention on vision impairment. It emphasizes the importance of eye health amongst individuals, families and communities and is a platform to influence decision makers to prioritize eye health initiatives. WHITE CANE DAY
October 15th is National White Cane Safety Day!
Throughout the world, the long white cane is used by people who are blind or visually impaired as a tool for safe and reliable navigation. It also allows the sighted person to recognize that the user is visually impaired.
We recognize the importance of this day as we also provide vision-enhancing solutions that help those who are visually impaired so that they can complete everyday tasks more easily, thereby improving their safety, productivity, independence and quality of life. And by providing your patients with the tools they need, we are all working together!

ESCHENBACH SPACE CAMP SPONSORSHIP
Eschenbach sponsored two visually impaired students to attend the SCIVIS Space Camp 2022. The Space Camp for Interested Visually Impaired Students (SCIVIS) was a 5-day/night educational adventure at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL held from September 18-23, 2022. Throughout the week, students were immersed in astronaut training techniques using equipment adapted from NASA’s astronaut program.
They got to ride in a multi-axis trainer, experience a 1/6th Gravity Chair, climb a rock wall, do an underwater build and complete a spaceflight mission. The students even got to speak live with a NASA astronaut on the International Space Station!
