NEW PRODUCTS

Introducing our New Polinelli® Blue Light Blocking Reader Styles!

Eschenbach has added 4 new frame styles to its product line of Polinelli® premium readers which feature an innovative blue light blocking technology. The lenses include a patented lens-coating that blocks approximately 30% of potentially harmful blue light to help provide a better viewing experience when using digital devices. Every piece of the Polinelli® collection also features UV400 protection which eliminates glare for enhanced visual clarity.

All of the Polinelli® styles we carry are finished with a rubberized texture and come with a soft case and color coordinated silicone neck cord. Our four new styles feature trendy two-tone color pallet and are available in a plano option and powers from +1.00 to +2.50 diopters.

HEALTHY AGING MONTH

Healthy Aging Month Helps to Raise Awareness for Older Adults to Improve their Health!

September is Healthy Aging Month, an awareness campaign about how older adults can live healthier, happier lives by taking care of their eyes. Older adults are at a higher risk for certain eye diseases and conditions, including age-related macular degeneration and cataracts, which is why early detection is so important. Seeing an eye care professional regularly is key to saving their eyesight.

Make sure your patients are taking care of their eyes as they get older and seeing you for regular eye exams. And if they do experience vision loss, Eschenbach has a variety of low vision aids you can offer that can help them accomplish their activities of daily living more easily and keep them active in their community!

ESCHENBACH SPACE CAMP SPONSORSHIP

Eschenbach is sponsoring two visually impaired students to attend the SCIVIS Space Camp this Fall! The Space Camp for Interested Visually Impaired Students (SCIVIS) will be held from September 18-23, 2022 and is a 5-day/night educational adventure at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. Throughout the week, students will be immersed in astronaut training techniques using equipment adapted from NASA’s astronaut program. They’ll learn about space hardware, experience a 1/6th Gravity Chair, and conduct a spaceflight mission while learning about aerospace career opportunities.

Congratulations to Joey P. from Cheyenne, WY (8th grade student) and Samuel F. from Tiffin, OH (10th grade student), our two sponsorship winners!

Eschenbach will be sending these two lucky students to the SCIVIS program with a fully paid tuition and we will be following along as they enjoy this amazing experience. Learn more at www.scivis.org.
