CATARACT AWARENESS MONTH

June is Cataract Awareness Month!

Cataract Awareness Month has been declared in June to educate the public on the world’s leading cause of vision loss. See details at PreventBlindness.org and make sure your patients know that they can reduce their risk of developing cataracts by wearing sunglasses which block harmful UV light. Congratulations Magno, you graduated!

Magno has passed his final blindfold walk and graduated from the Fidelco Guide Dog Training Program! He is now an official Guide Dog and will be placed with a visually impaired client who is in need of his special services. His puppy raisers were able to observe his progress as he successfully completed the final walk and they were reunited one last time!
