Announcing the New AllClean UV-C® Disinfecting System!

The AllClean UV-C® is a tabletop disinfecting system that utilizes high-intensity light in a reflective cabinet to kill viruses and bacteria. The UV-C intensity and exposure time of 3 minutes allows the unit to sanitize the products inside so that they are safe to use again after being handled.

The reflective cabinet can be used to disinfect magnifiers as well as telescopes, readers, prism eyewear and filters. It features two removable shelves so that larger products can fit inside and the sanitizing space can be maximized!

NATIONAL UV AWARENESS MONTH

May is National UV Awareness Month!

Because extended exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays can cause damage to the eyes, Prevent Blindness has declared May as Ultraviolet Awareness Month. The group offers a variety of free resources on UV protection to keep vision healthy, including fact sheets and a dedicated webpage: PreventBlindness.org/sun-and-vision.

The best protection against UV damage to the eyes is wearing a brimmed hat in conjunction with UV-blocking sunglasses. Announcing our new Controller, Gina Carey!

Eschenbach Optik of America, Inc. is pleased to announce that as of March 29, 2021, Gina Carey has joined the company as Controller.  Gina is responsible for all financial and accounting operations, distribution and logistics, information technology, facilities and compliance.

A former Big 4 accountant and auditor, Gina joins Eschenbach after several years as a consultant, providing executive leadership, financial strategy, accounting and profit optimization guidance to her client base.  Prior to opening her own consulting practice, Gina served as Managing Director and CFO of a mid-size marketing services company, CFO of a market research business and SVP of Finance & Operations of a digital media organization and we are glad to have her on our team now!
