PRODUCT OF THE MONTH

Have You Tried the RidoMED Binocular Galilean Telescope System for Near Viewing?

Eschenbach’s RidoMED Binocular Galilean Telescope System (1636) provides a bright viewing image in a sturdy, adaptable frame. The RidoMED is designed for near viewing tasks such as reading and doing crafts.

Available in 3 powers (2.5x, 3x and 4x magnification), the glass coated lenses are of an achromatic design which corrects for any chromatic aberration. In addition, the RidoMED Telescope System has focusable lenses which allows for compensation of spherical error (+/-5D). The frame also allows you to adjust the pupillary distance from 54 to 74mm and features glass fiber reinforced cold-bend temples on the 3x and 4x frames. The RidoMED can be prescription corrected for spherical and cylindrical refractive errors. Ask your Territory Manager for details or call to order!

LOW VISION AWARENESS

February is Low Vision Awareness Month!

Did you know it is estimated that there are between 4 and 20 million people in the US that are visually impaired?

This month take the opportunity to remind your patients that vision loss is not an inevitable part of getting older. But, if they do find themselves with vision problems, the first step is seeking help. Remember that low vision devices can assist those with vision loss with doing many of their normal activities of daily living. LEARN MORE!

You can promote low vision awareness in your office with posters, patient brochures, and other items. Your Eschenbach Territory Manager can help provide suggestions!
