The MaxTV® and MaxDetail® Clip-on Glasses Now Have a New Easier Clip!
The popular MaxTV® glasses, which magnify distant objects by 2X, have a clip-on version for those that wear prescription eyewear. The recently improved clip mechanism is easier to attach to the patients’ eyewear and still has the protective rubber covers on the prongs so it attaches firmly but won’t scratch the lenses.
The MaxDetail® also has a clip-on version that now has an improved clamping mechanism that is easier to open and attach onto the patients’ eyewear as well. During November, Prevent Blindness aims to promote awareness concerning diabetic eye disease and to support those with the disease. Diabetes increases the risk for a wide variety of health concerns including vision loss which is one of the most common.

Former Eschenbach Sales Manager Passes
All of the employees at Eschenbach are mourning the loss of Richard “Dick” Dixon, our former West Region Sales Manager. Dick joined Eschenbach in 1999 to begin covering the newly formed Northwest Territory. Dick quickly took the market and gained great personal satisfaction from the role of helping low vision practitioners help those in need. After 3 years, Dick was promoted to West Regional Sales Manager where he was responsible for Eschenbach’s sales team and activities west of the Mississippi River. Dick loved the customers, the cause, the travel and most of all the opportunity to lead and train others, gaining more satisfaction from their success than any of his own. He retired in 2006, after which he found a third career as an author.
Dick’s contributions to Eschenbach are too numerous to cite. He was a diligent employee, respected manager and a good and loyal friend. He will be missed.

We Have a New Warehouse Manager!
We would like to introduce our new Warehouse Manager, Marcel Walter. Marcel will be managing our Warehouse Team, developing and enhancing our warehouse operations systems, evaluating policies and procedures, and overseeing inventory management and shipping. In addition to this Marcel will be responsible for all logistics, purchasing and warehouse planning and more.
Marcel joins us with 10 years of logistics and warehouse management experience and we are happy to welcome him to the team!
