The #1512-2 is the newest addition to the Mobilux® LED series of illuminated hand-held magnifiers and has a 3.5” x 2” lens, the largest lens size of the group. Like the other Mobilux® LED Magnifiers in the series, it features a nearly distortion-free lens, a patented anti-scratch coating and a limited lifetime warranty making it an ideal solution for low vision patients.
In addition, the 8D Mobilux® LED hand-held magnifier features the same bright LED illumination as the others - up to 4600 lux! The brightness can be reduced by using one of the small snap-on LED filters that provide 3 different illumination options. A slip-on lens case also comes with the magnifier to protect the lens from scratching.
The #1511-001 Mobase stand can be purchased separately for the #1512-2 Mobilux® LED magnifier which allows it to be used as a stand magnifier or for hands-free tasks.

Makrolux Bright Field Magnifiers have an Extra Wide Viewing Area!
Eschenbach’s Makrolux magnifiers feature a large 90x30mm viewing area which is rectangular in shape making it easy to navigate across lines of text. And its wide lens allows it to cover a complete newspaper or magazine column so it can easily be moved straight down the column without moving the product left and right across the row.
These magnifiers come in two magnifications, 2.2x and 3.6x, with distortion-free viewing from edge to edge. The lens is tilted at an angle to make the magnifiers ergonomic, thereby reducing neck strain and fatigue and producing a more comfortable reading experience, especially for long periods of time. Plus, the ridges on the bottom of the model keep the lens 1mm off the reading surface to prevent the lens from scratching.
