The Visolux Digital XL FHD now has Distance Viewing Accessories!
The Visolux Digital XL FHD portable video magnifier has an HDMI-in option which allows users the ability to connect a video camera to view distance objects and the image will appear on the Visolux Digital screen. A variety of distance viewing accessories are now available to purchase with the Visolux Digital XL including a distance camera, a swivel HDMI cable and a tripod!
The Canon Vixia HD Camcorder (#CAHFR800B) is a compact video camera with a 57x advanced zoom and optical image stabilization. The camcorder can be connected to the Visolux Digital XL using the HDMI to Mini HDMI cable included with the camcorder to view distance objects like the white board in the classroom or meeting room.
An optional 1.5 ft. or 3 ft. Swiveling HDMI Mini Cable (#PEHDCRS101.5, #PEHDCRS103) can also be used to connect the Canon Vixia Camcorder to the Visolux Digital XL FHD. Featuring a swiveling HDMI Type A gold plated connector on one end, and a right angle HDMI Type C connector on the other, this shorter cable offers additional flexibility when connecting the two devices.
A 42” Tripod (#P620-420BB) is also available as an accessory for the Visolux Digital XL to help stabilize the camera when it is connected to the unit for extending viewing. It features 3 legs that extend from 11” to 42” and can be used on table tops or on the floor.

The #1632 Telescope Diagnostic Testing Kit is designed for diagnostic testing of visually impaired patients in need of a telescopic solution. The kit comes complete with three Galilean Telescopes with trial frame adapters attached and four Keplerian Monocular Telescopes ranging from 2.8x to 6x. It also includes eight reading caps ranging from 3D to 16D (plus a plano frosted lens) to adapt the telescopes for near tasks.
